An overview
The Brigade School @ Malleswaram is set in a 40-acre lifestyle enclave at Malleswaram-Rajajinagar. The school campus comprises buildings designed in a contemporary architectural style, surrounded by landscaped gardens and sports facilities.
Classrooms are spacious and well ventilated; interiors intelligently planned. Other facilities include:
- Airy, well-equipped laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology and life skills.
- 'Eureka Rooms' for language and math.
- A generously and imaginatively stocked library
- A well-equipped audio-visual room.
- Spacious and well-equipped computer labs,
with individual workstations. - Tuck Shop or Cafeteria, where healthy snacks
are available during tea and lunch breaks.
More than aesthetics
Passive and interactive installations—of which wall encyclopedias are one example—are wrongly perceived as just being decorative. We have found them to be a wonderful method of effortless education. Several such installations will be seen in the school.
Arts and Clubs
There are well-equipped rooms and spaces for arts, dance, music, theatre and public speaking. We have special interest clubs and organise field trips and community outreach projects.
Sports
Sports facilities include a swimming pool and ample grounds / facilities for individual and group sports, including football, volleyball, basketball and kho-kho. Athletics also have pride of place, with spaces for track events, jumps and throws.
