While planning our online classes, our priority was to ensure that we achieve excellence in both teaching and learning. The team looked beyond the readily available options and custom-designed a platform that takes into consideration the requirements and conveniences of both the teachers and students. Our teachers were trained and empowered to be prepared for the new environment.

World Music Day
World Music Day was celebrated in a very unique manner by the music team! Every class on that day began with 5 minutes of singing by music teachers who sang in twos or threes, accompanied by a keyboard, guitar, piano or a recorded track. What better way to beat away the blues than with Music!
Dance is such a fun way to ensure agility, grace and poise in our children! Dance appreciation classes, demonstrations on various styles of dance ensure and even integration of math and dance are interesting ways we bring the magic of dance to our students!
World Yoga Day
with our young yoga
The Brigade Schools enthusiastically celebrated World Yoga Day on the virtual platform on Friday 26th June 2020. The United Nation’s theme for this year was also appropriately chosen as, “Yoga for Health – Yoga at Home”. Interestingly the yoga teacher for these sessions was none other than our young Shree Raghav Trivikram of Std 7 B from The Brigade School at Malleswaram. We are all so proud that Trivikram is now a certified yoga instructor!
Shree Raghav, started yoga at the age of eight. His parents enrolled him in Akshara Yoga to engage his energies positively. He is the direct disciple of Shri Mahayogi Aksharnath and within two and a half months completed his teachers training certification level 1. He completed his Power Yoga Level II, the advance level of the teachers’ training program and is currently pursuing his Master’s level Teacher’s training under his Guru. He also has additional certifications
In wheel yoga and aerial yoga apart from being a campaign leader for training students with special needs and their parents for the International Yoga day. Shree Raghav has also been learning Carnatic Music since the age of four, is being trained to sing, play the mandolin, and the veena by his mother Dr Geetha Bhat who is a professional veena artist.
